Home and School Association (HSA): HSA consists of parents, staff, teachers and administration whose desire is to provide enrichment to the programs offered here at SACS. Meeting once per month, the HSA works to keep communication channels open between student families and the school, helps with fundraising for school facilities and programs, and plans engaging events that support student growth academically, socially, physically, and spiritually.

Scheduled Events
SEPTEMBER
Beach Vesper – provide supper and dessert
Grandparents Day – decorations and provide refreshments and light snacks
Move-a-thon – provide gatorades and otter pops
OCTOBER
Fall Festival – decorate, organize booth setup and activities, prizes for contests, raffles, silent auctions, and clean up.
Red Ribbon Week / Spirit Week – provide small gifts each day
NOVEMBER
Work Bee – clean and organize classroom/storage rooms
Friendsgiving Luncheon – serve lunch
See’s Candies Fundraiser – earned 20% of all sales, top 3 sellers win a prize and participation treats
DECEMBER
Christmas Program – decorations, provide refreshments and help serve
Christmas Food Drive – collect dry canned/boxed goods for the less advantage, prize to the class that collects the most goods
JANUARY
Awards Ceremony – provide light refreshments
FEBRUARY
ASB Vespers – provide supper and dessert
MARCH
Talent & Art Show/Science Fair – provide refreshments and light supper
Work Bee – clean and organize classroom/field
Read-a-Thon Fundraiser – host event during Spring break, most hours read and most money collect wins prizes
APRIL
Spirit Week – provide small gifts each day
Administrative Professionals Day – treat secretaries and staff for the day
MAY
Teacher’s Appreciation Week – treat teachers for the week
Water Day – provide water slide
Awards Program – provide light refreshments
